Acceptance of Terms
Please read this page carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of use, please do not use our website or services. By using or accessing TheMaidCo.com, you indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms govern the use of this site (the "Site") and the services available from it (the "Service"). The Maid Co. and its affiliated companies own and operate the Service. The Service is provided based on your unconditional acceptance of all terms, conditions, and any operational rules or policies that The Maid Co. may publish on this website from time to time.
The Maid Co. reserves the right to change or replace any of these terms at its sole discretion. You are responsible for regularly checking this agreement for updates; we are under no obligation to notify you of any changes. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
1. Agreement Terms
This agreement becomes effective upon your online acceptance of our service terms and conditions and remains in effect until terminated. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or have written consent from a parent or guardian, and that you are fully capable of entering into and complying with the terms, conditions, obligations, and warranties outlined in this agreement.
2. Fees & Payment Terms
(We kindly ask that you do not reject a domestic helper based on their appearance, age, or religion. A good helper is hired by judging their work and character, and treating them with dignity and respect.)
- All payments must be made online, by check, or via another approved UPI method, for which an invoice will be provided.
- The placement fee or service charge is due immediately upon the hired helper's start date, and an invoice will be issued to you after payment is received.
- All candidate introductions are strictly confidential. If The Maid Co. introduces a candidate to you, and you then introduce that candidate to a third party who hires them, you agree to pay The Maid Co.'s full placement/service charge.
- Once a candidate's profile has been shared with you, you may not hire them independently without paying The Maid Co.'s service fee. If you do so, legal action may be taken and you will be legally required to pay a penalty equal to ten times the original service charge.
3. Candidate Salary
- You are responsible for paying the domestic helper's salary directly. If the helper leaves, you must pay them for the days they have worked.
- Advance salary is at your discretion. The Maid Co. is not responsible for retrieving or refunding any advance payments if the helper quits.
4. Refund Policy
- a) Registration fee (Rs. 1500/2000/3000) is non-refundable if you choose not to interview any candidates.
- b) Refund is only possible if no suitable profiles are shared within 25 business days of payment.
- c) No refunds if you are unwilling to adjust salary expectations to match current market rates.
- d) If the helper leaves due to abuse, unfair practices, or changes in job description/salary, no replacement or refund will be issued and the contract will be void.
- e) Refund of up to 50% is possible only if you cancel services before the helper’s scheduled start date.
- f) No refund will be issued once the helper visits your premises.
- g) Refund requests must be submitted in writing to The Maid Co.’s official email.
- h) No refund if the helper’s contact details have already been shared with you.
- i) Refunds will be processed via a signed compromise note.
- j) Refund processing time: 5-7 working days after approval; bank credit within 5-7 days depending on bank policies.

5. Replacement Policy
- a) One free replacement within 15 business days (max 25 days).
- b) If no replacement is provided, we issue a credit note for the full paid amount.
- c) Previous helper’s salary must be cleared before replacement.
- d) One free replacement if a helper quits within 6 months.
- e) Additional replacements cost Rs.10,000 (full-time) or Rs.5,000 (part-time).
- f) Temporary replacements are not provided.
6. Work Satisfaction
- a) Job description and salary agreed upon cannot be changed later.
- b) You are responsible for evaluating the candidate before hiring.
- c) 15 days' notice must be given to request a replacement, after clearing all dues to the previous helper.
- d) Start date or schedule may vary due to transport, weather, or emergencies.
7. Miscellaneous
- a) The Maid Co. is not a mediator in disputes; resolution is your responsibility.
- b) Invoice will be shared only after acknowledgment and helper arrival.
- c) Contract is void if helper quits due to unfair practices or mistreatment.
- d) Services are available in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.
- e) Helpers will not mop manually; a mop stick must be provided.
- f) All disputes are subject to Telangana jurisdiction.
- g) Clients must provide meals, drinking water, and access to washrooms depending on hours of service.
- h) Any loss or damage caused by the helper is your responsibility; The Maid Co. is not liable.
